Frank was born in 1869 to Archibald and Agnes Fraser, part of a large coal mining family in New Monkland,\u00a0 Lanarkshire, Scotland.<\/p>\n

After coming to Queensland, he married Eleanor Ethel Mullins on 10 January 1900. They had three children; son, Archibald James Miles born in 1901,daughter, Sarah Jane born in 1904 and another son, Frank Gibson in 1907.<\/p>\n

Shortly after their marriage Frank and Eleanor were living in Stubley Street, Charters Towers with Frank working as a sharebroker, but they later moved to Elizabeth Street in Charters Towers.<\/p>\n

On 27 June 1912, at the meeting of the Governor-in-Council, Frank was approved to be added to the Commission of Peace in the Northern Division.<\/p>\n

Frank died on 7 March 1934 and is buried in the Charter\u2019s Towers Cemetery.<\/p>\n

On his death, the local paper reported: \u2018Another link with the boom days of Charters Towers \u00a0was severed yesterday morning with the death in the Charters Towers District Hospital of Mr. Frank Fraser at the age of 61 years. For over 25 years he was employed by E. D. Miles and Co. and for many years was the firm\u2019s registered confidential clerk on the Charters Towers stock exchange.<\/em><\/p>\n

In 1916 he left the firm and commenced business on his own as commission agent. He was a prominent member of the old Stock Exchange Rifle club and had been a President of the Towers Jockey Club during a long term. Of later years he has been secretary of the Licensed victuallers Association, Civic Club, and Country and Progressive National Association. Mrs. Frazer, (formerly Miss Emily Mullins, a daughter, Sadie, two sons. Jack and Archie, and a brother and two sisters survive him.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n
