Too often, the voices of country Australians, their lived experiences, local industries, and community traditions are lost to time. TOCAH exists to change that.
Our Purpose
TOCAH’s core purpose is to future-proof the memories of everyday life in country Australia — not just as static records, but as meaningful stories that educate, inspire and connect people across generations. We believe that understanding where we come from helps us see clearly where we’re headed.
Through an accessible and growing online archive, we aim to narrow the understanding gap between Australia’s urban and rural experiences by amplifying the voices of those who built and shaped regional life.
